The countries Greece, Iceland, New Zealand and Singapore have been chosen due to their ability to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 at an early stage and, in the case of one, eliminate community transmission of SARS-CoV-2; their similar geographic nature as islands and peninsulas; and their economies which mainly rely on service producing industries.
