And while in the past, missing a national or international conference may have led to loss of access to important new data, ideas, or opportunities for collaboration, now, as academic meetings are increasingly integrated with social media, physicians can watch presentations, participate in discussions, and network with other attendees remotely [1, 10, 11] .
