The effect of surface emissivity and periodic heat generation on Nusselt numbers and both stream function and temperature distributions has been investigated. Analysis of other heat transfer modes (radiation and conduction inside the heater and solid walls) noticeably affects natural convection and essentially complicates the mathematical model.
