In our retrospective non‐randomised study, 34 patients under 50 years old and diagnosed with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) were included, according to given methylprednisolone treatment (n = 18) or not (n = 16), they were separated into 2 groups. Two-tailed Student's t-test was used to compare the two groups of means in this study, P values were ≤ 93% at a rest state; arterial partial pressure of oxygen (PaO2)/oxygen concentration (FiO2) ≤ 300 mmHg. Patients with > 50% lesions progression within 24 to 48 hours in lung imaging should be treated as severe cases. ./cache/cord-299926-jx1ws18b.txt ./txt/cord-299926-jx1ws18b.txt
