In this study, the pathogenicity of TW I-type IBV was evaluated by examining clinical symptoms, mortality rates, virus shedding, lesions, and laying performance in terms of egg quantity and quality in infected chickens. The pathogenicity of TW I-type IBV in the early stage post-infection was evaluated via the clinical symptoms, pathological lesions, and virus shedding from trachea and cloaca.
