Studies that describe the relation of some herbal drugs with the molecular mechanisms of COVID-19 infection, treatment, and prevention remain to be explained. in their systematic review about convalescent plasma transfusion (CPT) for the treatment of COVID-19 suggested that CPT could be an effective therapeutic option with promising evidence on safety, improvement of clinical symptoms, and reduced mortality, in addition to antiviral/antimicrobial drugs.
