Buckland and Stueart Join 
College and R esearch Libraries

Michael K. Buckland and Robert D. Stueart 
have joined the editorial board of C o lle g e  an d 
R e s e a r c h  L ib ra r ies.

Buckland, an Englishman, has his Ph.D . from 
Sheffield Library School and is currently assist­
ant director for technical services at Purdue 
University libraries. His specialties are library 
management, education for librarianship, and 
bibliometrics. He is co-editor of a forthcoming

reader in operations research.
Stueart is associate professor and assistant 

dean at the Graduate School of Librarianship, 
University of Denver. His P h.D . dissertation, 
T h e  A r ea  S p ecialist B ib lio g r a p h e r : An In q u iry  
in to H is R o le , was published last year by Scare­
crow Press. He is very active in several ALA  
divisions, including A C R L. ■ ■
