The State University of New York at Geneseo is a state-assisted, 5,300 student, predominantly under­ graduate residential college located in the village of Geneseo 28 miles south of Rochester. The College is extremely selective, with SAT scores averaging 1161 (ACT, 27) and freshman-to-sophomore retention exceeding ninety percent.
