Spencer Lamm has been appointed head 
of library systems at Drexel University Libraries. 

Elizabeth E. Park has been named director 
of online library services at Bethel University. 

Eddie Rubiez has been appointed web 
developer at Drexel University Libraries.

Stephanie Viola has been appointed 
electronic resources and serials librarian at the 
University of Colorado-Colorado Springs.

Amy Wainwright has been appointed out-
reach and student engagement librarian at John 
Carroll University.

Deaths

Mary Iber, 64, consulting librarian for the 
sciences at Cornell College’s Cole Library 
and college archivist, has died. Iber worked 
at Cornell College since 2000 and had earned 
the rank of professor earlier in 2013. From 
2001 to 2010, she taught courses as an adjunct 
instructor at the University of Iowa School 
of Library and Information Science. She 
published several articles on library issues 
and presented papers at library conferences. 
Iber was on the executive board of the Iowa 
Library Association/ACRL, and had been a 
member of the Mount Vernon Historic Pres-
ervation Commission since 2011. For 12 years, 
she worked as a library specialist at the test-
ing organization ACT Inc., in Iowa City. 

Appointments

Heather Buchansky is the new student 
engagement librarian at the University of To-
ronto Libraries. 

Katie Buehner has been appointed head of 
the Rita Benton Music Library at the University 
of Iowa Libraries. 

Volodymyr Chumachenko has been ap-
pointed processing archivist at Kansas State 
University Libraries in Manhattan, Kansas.

Rachael Cohen has accepted the position 
of discovery user experience librarian at Indiana 
University-Bloomington.   

Rory Elliott has been appointed specialized 
collections librarian at Texas State University’s 
Albert B. Alkek Library in San Marcos.

Willow Fuchs has been appointed business 
reference and instruction librarian in the Marvin 
A. Pomerantz Business Library at the University 
of Iowa Libraries. 

Margaret Gamm has been appointed spe-
cial collections librarian in the Map Collection, 
Special Collections, and University Archives at 
the University of Iowa Libraries.

Rhonda Glazier has joined the University 
of Colorado-Colorado Springs Kraemer Family 
Library as director of collections management.

Jon Hall has been appointed circulation ser-
vices professional at the University of Colorado-
Colorado Springs.

Amanda Harlan has been appointed meta-
data librarian at Kansas State University Libraries 
in Manhattan, Kansas.

Erika Johnson has been appointed head 
of acquisitions and collections management 
at the University of San Francisco’s Gleeson-
Geschke Library. 

Emily Kader is now rare book research li-
brarian at the Wilson Special Collections Library, 
University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
