Prior to this, Aguiñaga served as social sciences librarian at California State University-Long Beach (2001–05), as liaison librarian at Arizona State University West Campus (1999–2001), and as social sciences librarian and interim library personnel coordinator at the University of Houston (1994–97). During his 22-year membership with ACRL, he has served on the ACRL Academic/ Research Librarian of the Year Award Com- mittee (2013–14), the ACRL Appointments Committee (2013–14), and the ACRL Excel- lence in Academic Libraries Award Commit- tee (2013–15). He currently serves as the ACRL liaison to the American Association of Community Colleges (2015–18) and served as a member of the ACRL Representatives Assembly (2012–13), and the ACRL Stan- dards Committee (2007–09). Lauren Pressley is the associate dean/library director at the University of Washington Tacoma Libraries, a position she has held since 2015.
