T h e discussions w e r e r e c o r d e d v e r - b a t i m a n d Issues-in Library Education con- s t i t u t e s an e d i t e d v e r s i o n of these s u m m a r i e s and t h e discussions. T h e s e l a t t e r p r o v i d e an i n t e r e s t i n g , f r e q u e n t l y t h o u g h t - p r o v o k i n g and o f t e n v e r b a t i m r e p o r t of t h e opinion and be- lief of an i m p o r t a n t g r o u p of l i b r a r i a n s on some of t h e m a j o r p r o b l e m s f a c i n g e d u c a - tion f o r t h e p r o f e s s i o n .
