The symposium will feature an array of distinguished speakers and open discussions, through which participants will seek to examine the laws, policies and consequences of collecting and exhibiting antiquities, particularly in light of high-profile legal and political world events. Scheduled speakers include scholars from Notre Dame, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Universities of Pennsylvania andVirginia,DePaulUniversity, and theAmericanSchoolof Classical Studies atAthens, among other experts in the field.
