Awarded every other year to a woman conducting dissertation research in medieval studies, the fellowship will support Schieberles use of Rochesters Rossell Hope Robbins Library, which has extensive resources in medieval English literature and medieval British history and culture, to conduct research for her dissertation, titledWomen and Authority: Feminized Counsel and Advice to Princes in Chaucer, Gower, and Christine de Pizan.
