The genomes obtained are valuable to expand the availability of useful genomic data for future epidemiological studies of SARS-CoV-2 in Chile and worldwide. The availability and increased access to SARS-CoV-2 genomic data will contribute to further studies on the transmission dynamics of the virus, its epidemiology, and the effect of vaccination on the evolution of the virus (10) . Data availability. The sequences of the SARS-CoV-2 genomes were deposited in the GISAID and NCBI GenBank (BioProject ID PRJNA810979) databases (see Table 1 ). We gratefully acknowledge the SARS-CoV-2 Genomic Surveillance Project institutions, including the Ministry of Health of Chile (MINSAL), Institute of Public Health of Chile (ISP), and Seremi de Salud Región de La Araucanía. The SARS-CoV-2 genomic sequencing at the Araucanía Region was supported by funding the Ministry of Health of Chile (MINSAL) and Universidad de La Frontera. The funders had no role in study design, data collection, interpretation or decision to submit this work for publication. We declare that there are no conflicts of interest.
