The 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) becomes a global pandemic and it affects more than 1000,000 people around the world 1 . This pneumonia is linked to the severe adult respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Nowadays, the asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 carriers is raising concerns 2 . We previously reported cancer patients were at an elevated risk of COVID-19 3 . Herein, we firstly reported a case of asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 carrier with lung cancer who might be contagious. On April 7, after consulting COVID-19 specialists, the patient resumed the chemotherapy per our mentioned above, to which the patients was confirmed responsive before the COVID-19 outbreak. After that, a post-chemotherapy laboratory test revealed that only serological antibody IgG was positive. Collectively, this case suggested that we should alert to suspicious symptoms of lung cancer patients, which might overlap with those of asymptomatic COVID-19. Furthermore, we firstly demonstrated chemotherapy might be safe for asymptomatic carrier after serological IgM antibody turned to negative. However, further studies remain in urgent need.
