¶ These following be the privileges pardon and Indulgence granted to the brethren and sisters/ & benefactors of the College church of saint Iohn of Beverley.  
first our holy Father in god Alexander the iii Pope of that name by his holy grace/ a 〈…〉 hath graciously granted unto all men and women being very penitent/ contrite/ and 〈…〉 that to the sustentation helping or maintaining with any part of their goods gyvy 〈…〉 〈…〉 che of the blessed confessor saint Iohn the vii part of their penance enjoined/ mercy 〈…〉 given and have granted a HUNDRED days of pardon. And granteth unto all the messengers/ and proctor 〈…〉 that and if the Church be Interdicted & suspended/ may cause the doors to be opened/ and all manner d 〈…〉 and said solemnly in the honour and worship of almighty god/ and by the virtue of this privilege 〈…〉 Alexander hath granted to every Brother and Sister that hath a letter/ or writing of this holy co 〈…〉 〈…〉 verley shall in likewise 'cause all divine service to be song and said/ and the bodies of their Benef 〈…〉 the churchyard/ except they be accursed by name.  
¶ Item our holy father pope Innocent the four of that name/ of his merciful grace hath granted to 〈…〉 of this Frateruyte/ for their forgotten sins in time of confession/ remission/ and oaths made or swo 〈…〉 〈…〉 nesse of mind and vows broken except Iherusalem/ all offences/ or trespass made to father & mod 〈…〉 except they lay in violence hand upon them. and that by transgressor of their faith/ be released.  
¶ Also our holy father Innocent aforesaid/ and ten Pope's holy fathers of their most holy grace 〈…〉 〈…〉gence and pardon aforesaid unto the brethren/ and sisters/ and benefactor 〈…〉 saint 〈…〉 〈…〉 holy grace 〈…〉 〈…〉 and benefactors of god/ and saint 〈…〉  
¶ Also our holy father aforesaid hath granted to all the brethren and sisters/ and benefactors 〈…〉 and women of Religion that Ignorantly by oblivion or by negligence hath forgotten their die 〈…〉 default of evil books/ or walkings on nights in sickness/ or in health yearly doing their dew 〈…〉 of Beverley full remission.  
¶ Also our holy father aforesaid hath granted to every brother & sister of saint Iohn of Beverley 〈…〉 an able ghostly father/ the which may yearly grant them full remission of all their sins no 〈…〉 belong to our holy father the pope.  
¶ Item our holy father pope Iohn the xii of that name hath confirmed all the Indulgencꝭ & pard 〈…〉 Iohn commandeth straightly that in no manner of wise no person/ make impediment to hurt/ nor 〈…〉 in word nor deed. In pain of the great Indignation of almighty god/ and the holy apostles Pe●●● 〈…〉  
¶ Also xxiiii bishops of the court of Rome every of them hath granted to every brother and 〈…〉 hour/ and extreme of death xl days of pardon that give/ or send unto the College and church oh 〈…〉  
¶ Also this blessed confessor saint Iohn in the time that he was archbishop of york/ hath gra 〈…〉 all them that be brethren and sisters unto the fraternity and brotherhood.  
¶ Also my lord cardinal chancellor of England hath granted a HUNDRED days of pardon.  
¶ And also there is in the same College of saint Iohn of Beverley xxx priests praying daily f●● 〈…〉 and good doers/ and every day in the year iii solemn masses/ that is to wit a mass of our L 〈…〉 〈…〉ge with the chapter mass and mass of Requiem by note/ and iii times a year general dirige 〈…〉  
¶ Also our sovereign lord King Herny the viii hath given out his Patent under his bro〈…〉 praying to all them that be his true lovers and subjects favourably to receive the Messengers 〈…〉 more hath commanded to all and singular head officers/ that is to say his Mayor's/ Sheryffes'/ Bay 〈…〉 〈…〉 the wardens of every City/ Borough/ and Town/ as well within the liberties/ as without that 〈…〉 and charity of every well disposed person/ and it so gathered/ to be delivered to the 〈…〉 of god and saint Iohn and the prayer of the 〈…〉
