HIs Majesty, upon weighty considerations for the good of His People, (with the Advice of His Privy Council) by this His Royal Proclamation doth Recall and Revoke, make void and determine a Proclamation of the Twenty fifth of May, in he Seventeenth year of His Reign, Entitled (A Proclamation for the due Observance of the Charter and Privileges lately granted to the Governor and Company of Merchants Trading to the Canary Islands) and one other Proclamation of the Twelfth 〈◊〉 november, in the Eighteenth year of his Majesty's Reign, Entitled (A Proclamation Prohi●●ng the Importation of all Wines of the Growth of the Canary Islands, and all further Trade and Commerce with the said Islands, and the Inhabitants thereof, until His Majesty's Pleasure shall be further known) and also all other Proclamations and Orders whatsoever relating to the said Company, or whereby Trade to the said Islands is in any wise Prohibited or Restrained; The said Charter of Incorporation being now Surrendered into his Majesty's hands. And his Majesty is further Graciously pleased to signify His Royal Pleasure, and doth hereby Declare and Publish, That all His Subjects have, and shall have full and free liberty of Trade and Commerce, in and to the said Islands, as was formerly used before the said Charter, without any impediment or restraint whatsoever, paying such Customs and other Duties as aught to be paid according to Law.
