Resolved, etc. THat the Court of Wards and Liveries, and all Wardships, Liveries, Primer Seisins, Ousterlemains, and other charges whatsoever, growing for or by reason of any Wardship of Body or Lands, either of His Majesty, His Heirs, or Successors, or of any other Lord or Lords, and of all Tenors, from whence the same do arise, shall be taken away. Resolved, etc. THat in lieu and recompense thereof, there shall be charged and raised upon the Kingdom of England and Dominion of Wales, the yearly sum of one hundred thousand pounds, to be disposed of by both Houses of Parliament: Resolved, etc. THat this House doth Declare and Order, That the Court of Wards shall proceed as formerly in the mean time concerning Wardships, until an Ordinance for taking away the said Court shall be perfected and completed.
