A VOICE of the LORD to the Heathen, which to them is a Visitation for them to turn to him who is living, from all their dead handy works, which to them is an alarm sounded out of Sion. GOd that made the world, the sea, and the earth, and the dry and, the Sun and the Moon, and the Stars, and made the fish in the sea, and the fowls in the air, and clothed the earth with grass, and caused the herbs to come out of it, and trees on it to grow, yielding their seed, and created every creeping thing upon the earth, and likewise made the Beasts of the Field, and in his own Image made man; but from his image man being fallen, he knows not God, who is the God of the spirits of all flesh, Num and the light of the Lord is the breath of man, and searcheth all the bowels of the belly; but man being an enemy through the alienating of his mind, though the Poets can say, that in him they live, and move, and have their being, who gives them breath, which is the light of the Lord, Pro● and yet being alienated from the life of God, and ignorance, and blindness of heart, and their understanding being darkened, walking after the vanity of their mind, serving and worshipping the creature more than the Creator, who is God blessed for ever, and setting up those things to bee gods that are not, worshipping the works of your own hands, that which your fingers have made, Imag●s of Males, or Images of Females, or Images of the Sun or the Moon, in the mean while and time are ignorant through the alienating of your mindes from the true God, that made the Sun, and all creatures upon the earth, for this the living God requires, that man should come to the true knowledge of him, and the Sun, the Stars, the Moon, the day and the night, and by his covenant keeps night in its season, and day in its season, by whose word were all things made, and by whose word and power is all things upheld, who requires to Worship him in the spirit, who is a spirit, who is the God of the Spirits of all flesh, whose light is the breath of man; I am the light of the world( saith Christ) and doth enlighten every man that cometh into the world, by whom it was made, Christ Jesus the saviour of your souls; now this is the light which you are lighted withall, which tells you when you do wrong, and not the thing that is righteous; and you know with that when you have wronged any one, and broken promise, and told a thing that is not so, there is something riseth in you that is a witness against you, and that is the light, and that is it which will bring you to feel after God, him that created all things, and made all things, the sea, the Earth, the stars, the sun, the moon, the creeping things upon the earth, that which brings you to feel after him, is that which lets you see when you do not the thing that is righteous, when you break promise, that of God manifest in you, that will bring you to look beyond the Sun, beyond the earth, beyond the stars, beyond all creatures, beyond all the elements, and the moon and day and night; for this gives to see him and his covenant, which keeps day and night in its season; and this light is it which brings you for Worshipping or bowing to any thing you have made with your own hands, for that the living God forbids, who is one with the light in you, which light is it which brings to know him, and to worship God who is light, and where there is no darkness; and the Lord God who is the spirit of all flesh, whose light is the breath of man, he that made the sea, and the earth, and the firmament, and set the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night, who made the stars also, and made the fish in the sea, and clothed the earth with grass, and caused the trees to come out of it, yielding its seed and bearing fruit, and created every living creature upon the earth, and man in his own image; this being lost through Eve hearkening to the Serpent, the most doest beast of the field, so going among the creatures, mangled among them, lost the image of the Creator, serving the creature more than the Creator; this God the Creator of all, the Father of spirits, the spirit of all flesh, whose light is the breath of man, who upholds all things by his word and power, sent his Son into the World, he took not upon him the nature of Angels, but the seed of Abraham, who lighteth every man that cometh into the world, who is the image of the Father, and the brightness of his glory, glorified with the Father before the world began, and glorified with the Father is again; him hath the Father glorified, and his name exalted above all names, at whose name shall every knee bow, who lighteth every man that cometh into the world; him who is the brightness of his glory, the glory of the Father, the express image of his substance, every man being enlightened with the light that cometh from him, that they might believe in the light, and with the light see himself, and it deny, and see his Saviour Christ from whence light comes, the image of God, the brightness of his glory, and come to worship him in the spirit and in the truth; and this light lets you see your breaking your promises, and your not doing the thing that is true one to another, this is truth in your inward parts, it cometh from Christ the truth, who is the Way to the Father the God of all truth. Now being turned to the light which comes from Christ the brightness of the glory of the Father, by whom all things were created, you are turned from serving and worshipping the creature and all Gods that cannot hear nor see; and the vanities of your mind the light turneth you from, and will bring you to know the life of God, the spirit of all flesh, with which spirit you come to be baptized into one body, into his body, and turned to the light, the life of God from the wicked works; which life of God is the new life, where the life is changed, and the Creator sees, which creates to good works, him whose works are perfect; but man out of the light out of him, a stranger to his life, an enemy through the alienating of his mind, his works are evil, his works are wicked in himself and not wrought in God; and while you are in the breaking of promises, and doing a thing which is not true; there is a Witness in you that witnesseth against you, and that is the light, which if you love it, and bring your works to it, you will see whether they be wrought in God; but when you hate it, and your works are evil, they are not wrought in God, this will be your condemnation( saith Christ) the light, by whom the world was made, the sea, the earth, the sun and the moon, and all creatures created by him upon the earth, and the fish in the sea, and the fowls of the air; God that created these( who placed man upon the earth, and gave unto him life and breath) gave unto him all things, the Lord of all Sea and Land and Trees and Fowls of the air and Beasts of the Field and cattle, and set the Sun in the firmament to rule the day, and the Moon to rule the night; who is Lord of all heaven and earth, beyond Sun and Moon, and before they were; and before the earth was, or the earth and the sea was divided, or any creature created; who measures the Waters in the hollow of his hand and weigheth the earth in scales; before whom all Nations is but as a drop of a Bucket, who now is come and rules among his sons and daughters, upon whom he hath poured forth his spirit( such as bee in his image) among whom his name is dreadful and wonderful, who witness the name above every name, by whom all the Families of heaven and earth was name, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world, which light will let him see when he doth not the thing which is righteous, and when he doth the thing which is unrighteous; which if you hearken to that light, you will come to see the Law of our God which created all things, and you will come to that which is truth that will bring to serve God, the God that is the God of all truth, and worship him in spirit and in truth, his Word is now gone out of Jerusalem, and his Law out of Sion, and a trumpet is founded out of Sion to all the inhabitants of the earth; Therefore all ye heathen every where, fear and dread the name of the mighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth, who hath given to you strength and breath, and life, and the fullness of the creatures, and plenty of the creatures: The Creator of them calls to you for the knowledge of himself, and for you to turn from the vanities of your mind, that you might come to know his life, and serve him your Creator, who hath sent his son to enlighten every one of you that cometh into the World, who is the Way to him, who is the Image of him, the brightness of him, yea of his glory; and this is the light which he hath lighted you withall, that lets you see unrighteousness, truce-breaking, and when you do the thing which is not right; this light in you lets you see, that is a Witness against you when you do the thing that is evil, which is it that shows you that; this is it, this before mentioned is the light that comes from the Image of the Father, who is the brightness of his Glory, which none of you come to see the Image of the Creator, but as you love that principle that shows you when you do the thing that is unrighteous, for that comes from him who is the Son of God, who is Gods righteousness, and this light bringing you to the Image of the Son, and this light which is righteous lets you see the unrighteous, bringeth you to worship God in Spirit and in truth, bringeth you from worshipping all other Gods, bringeth you from all the works of your own hands, and bringeth you from all changeable worships, or worshipping any changeable thing, the spirit, the light, with which you come to Witness the spirit of the living God which brings to him that doth not change in the spirit and in the truth; and this brings to serve the Creator and Worship him; and he saith, Thou shalt not make to thyself any graved image, or the likeness of any thing in heaven or in earth, or in the Waters under the earth, or bow down to them; for I the Lord God, who is the God of all Spirits, God of the spirits of all flesh, who creates man upon the earth, and puts his spirit into him, and placed him upon earth, who hath given his Son for a Covenant, a Light to lighten the Gentiles, with which light you that be Heathen shall come to the knowledge of the Lord with the Light of his Son who hath lighted you, who is the way to the Father of Light, whose majesty & Glory is now arising, whose dominion is now seen, that which is without end, whose Government is now come, who bears it upon his own shoulders, where righteousness shal run down, truth and mercy and peace shall meet, and the founder of the image, and the worshipper of the image shall be confounded with the power of the living God, who will now be worshipped in Spirit and in truth: I the Lord formed the Light, and created Darkness, make peace, and create evil; I have made the earth, and created man upon it; I, even my hand hath stretched itself upon it, and all the Host have I commanded; and thou O Lord art Worthy to receive Glory, and Honour, and Power, for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are, and were created; and he that created the heavens, and the things therein, and the earth, and the things therein, is him that liveth for ever, who will be worshipped in spirit and truth, and who is now Worshipped in spirit and truth, the Creator, God blessed for ever, over all the creatures hath given his children who be in his Image, the Image of his Son, Dominion over all, which the Creator hath made and created in the Image of the Creator; and none comes to this but who comes to the Light, the Image of his Son, who is the Brightness and Glory of the Father, the express Image of his Substance, whose Image answereth the Righteous Light in every one of you; which image will deface all your images and likenesses, and doth break them down: And here the Standard of the Lord shall be Witnessed, set up and Established, from which Righteousness and Iudgement shall run down, which makes things savoury to God, wherein the Offering is seen that is offered in Righteousness to the Righteous God, which none offers this Offering in Righteousness, but such as are turned to the Light, Gods Righteousness, who is the way to the Father: And such as love this Light, and to it are turned; they are turned from the Unrighteousness, with the righteous to the righteous, from this the sacrifice is offered in righteousness to the Righteous God; and all them that are in the Unrighteousness, in the likeness, hates the Light which comes from Christ the Image of the Father, the righteousn●ss of God, they that offer their offering is not in righteousness, but in the Unrighteousness, that God never accepted; and all the Offerings that were offered out of the Light, God never had respect to; for the living God is not in the thoughts of such as they that forget him, whose throats are an open Sepulchre, drinking iniquity as the Ox drinks Water, filled with unrighteousness, these all act contrary to the Light which comes from Christ Gods Righteousness, such be in fury and rage, Cains way, rage the heathen which be from the Light, from God, who is Light, who cannot offer an Offering in righteousness, nor none can but who owns the Light which comes from Christ Gods Righteousness offers an offering in righteousness which he hath respect to. TRemble oh you mean Countenance! Oh tremble, oh you mean countenance! you heathen that know not God, the glittering Sword is drawn, furbushed, hangs over your heads, is shaken and glitters, who worshipped the Host of Heaven; the Host of the Lord, the Lords Host is coming upon you with glittering Swords; fearfulness, and shaking, and trembling shall there be among you, the day of the mighty God is dawning, and the Glory of the mighty God is rising, and the God of the world shall be judged; and the Prince of the Power of the Air by, and with the Power of Truth, and all Idol-Worshippers shall be confounded; you which have worshipped Idols shall be overthrown; the Lord will get himself a Name, the Heathen shall know it, for the uttermost parts of the earth is his Seeds possession; he that sits upon the Throne of David shall reign; the great lion and the young lion, the Dragon and the old Serpent, all shall couch before him, him who bruiseth the Head of the Serpent, and destroys death which hath reigned: You Islands shall quake like leaves, and the main continent, your hearts shall fail, Knees Knocking together, and feebleness for fear of the Glory of the Lord, who is now rising to shake terribly the earth, and to cleanse it, and sending forth into his Vineyard to dress it, and such as have the ground cumbered will he cut down and cast into the fire. Awake you Kings, Princes and Dominions, for you are but as the Air, the glittering sword hangs over your heads of the Almighty. You mean countenance which have been under the power of darkness, worshipping the Prince of the air, the power of darkness, and served the God of the world, been under the power of the prince of the air, God will overthrow your dominion and power and Princes with his own power and dominion, whose name will be glorified among the Heathen that know not God, that made the sea, the earth, and all things therein, who is Lord of all, the Father of spirits, who will be Worshipped with that. This to the Heathen is a Message, the great and mean countenance, and you are withering, and fearfulness is coming; ah, have you lived at ease? now is the dread of the Lord God coming among you, now is the Trumpet sounded, that God will haue a sacrifice.
