Was God the Father made Man? A. No. Q. Was God the Holy Ghost made Man? A. No. Q. What is a Sacrament? A. It is a visible Sign of an invisible Grace. Q. How many Sacraments are there? A. Seven. Q. Which are they? A. Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Extreme Unction, Holy Order, and Matrimony. Q. How many Parts are there in the Sacrament of Penance? A. Three. Q. Which are they? A. Contrition, Confession, and Satisfaction. Q. What is Contrition? A. It is a hearty Sorrow for our Sins, proceeding from the love of God, joined with a firm purpose of Amendment. Q How many kinds of Sin is there? A Two. Q. Which are they? A. Original and Actual Q. What is Original Sin? A. The Sin we are all born in. Q. What is Actual Sin? A. The Sin we ourselves commit. Q. How many Kinds of Actual Sins are there? A. Two. Q. Which are they? A. Mortal and Venial. Q. What is a mortal Sin? A. A great Sin that kills the Soul, and deserves Hell. Q. What is a Venial Sin? A. A Sin that doth not kill the Soul, but yet displeaseth God. Q. What Sacrament taketh away Original Sin? A. Baptism. Q. What Sacrament taketh away Actual Sin? A. Penance. Q. Are we obliged to confess all our Mortal Sins? A. Yes, or else we commit a new grievous Sin, and none of our Sins are pardoned us. Q. Are we obliged to confess all our Venial Sins? A. No. Q. What if we doubt, whether a Sin be Mortal or Venial? A. Then we are obliged to confess it. Q. What is the Blessed Eucharist? A. It is the true Body and Blood of JESUS CHRIST, true God and true Man, whole CHRIST, under the outward Forms of Bread and Wine. Q. Doth the Bread and Wine remain after Consecration? A. Which are the Four last Things? A. Death, judgement, Hell, and Heaven. Q. Is it profitable to remember them often? A.
