Whereas this Parliament which was Summoned to begin at Westminster the Nineteenth day of May 1685, hath by several Prorogations been continued to the Two and twentieth day of November next ensuing; The King's most Excellent Majesty for weighty Reasons hath thought fit to Dissolve this Present Parliament, and doth by this His Royal Proclamation Dissolve the same accordingly: And the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and the Knights, Citizens, and Burgesses of this present Parliament are hereby Discharged from their Meéting on the said Two and twentieth day of November next ensuing. Given at Our Court at Hampton Court the Second Day of July, 1687. In the Third Year of Our Reign. God save the King.
