blazon or coat of arms incorporating the Commonwealth Flag (1649-1651) AN ACT For the ascertaining the time of payment of the moneys due upon Weavers-Hall Bills. WHereas the Sum of Four hundred thousand pounds was secured to several Advancers by Ordinance of Parliament, dated the thirteenth of May, One thousand six hundred forty and seven, to be repaid out of the Grand excise in course, among several other Securities held forth in the said Ordinance, for the better ascertaining the time when the said money shall be paid out of the Receipts of the Grand excise aforesaid; The Parliament do Enact and Ordain, and be it Enacted and Ordained by Authority thereof, That the Commissioners of the excise for the time being, do out of such moneys as shall come into their Hands upon the Receipts of the Grand excise, immediately from and after the One and thirtieth of December, One thousand six hundred fifty and three, make payment of the said Four hundred thousand pounds (or so much thereof as shall at that time remain due and payable) in such order and form as is directed and appointed by the said Ordinance of the Thirteenth of May, One thousand six hundred forty seven, together with Interest for the same, each six months, after the Rate of Eight pounds per centum per annum, till Principal and Interest be fully discharged.
