Friday, the 27th of June, 1651. Resolved, THat the Parliament doth Declare, That the several persons named Commissioners in the several Acts of Parliament for the Militia's in the several Cities and Counties of this Commonwealth, be the persons intended by the Act, entitled, An Act for the Impresting of Soldiers for the Service of the Commonwealth in Ireland, to have power to Impress Soldiers within the said several Cities and Counties by force of the said Act, and that they do act accordingly, notwithstanding the Determination of the several Acts for the Militia's.
