Enoch.  
By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death: etc: for before his translation he had this testimony that he pleased God. vers. 5.   portrait

By faith Moses when he was come to years refused to he called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction etc. v. 24. 25.   portrait

1. Of his new Birth. Except a man be Borne again he cannot enjoy God being Borne again of incorruptible seed, 1 pet. 1. 23. whosoever is borne of God he cannot sin, 1. John 3. 9 cast not the children's bread to dogs, Math. 15. 26.  
2. of his new food. I have esteemed his word more than my necessary food Job. 23. 12 How sweet are thy words unto my taste? psal. 119. 103 As Christ's, so in the measure received the christian his meatis to do the will of his father Joh. 4. 34.  
3. of his Growth. may grow up into him in all things Eph. 4. 15. As new born babes desire the sincere milk of the word to grow thereby, 1. pet. 1. 2. But they grow in grace and in knowledge, 1. pet. 1. 2.  
4. his apparel Hath put on the armour of light Rom: 13. 12 And of righteousness. 2. Cor. 6. 7. the whole armour of God Ephe: 6: 11.  
5. his inward man Thy word have I hid in my heart psal. 119. 11: Your life is hid with Christ in God Colo: 3. 3. but let it be the hidden man of the heart strengthened with might by his spirit. etc. Ep: 3 . 16  
6. his will. for to will is present with me Ro: 7. 18. with good will doing service as to the Lord for if there be first a willing mind it is accepted. etc. 2. Cor: 8. 12.  
7. his Conscience always a conscience void of offence toward God and toward men Act. 24: 16. Holding faith and a good conscience. 1 Tim. 1. 19 with the testimony of our conscience serving god 2. Co 1. 12  
8. his love. o how I love thy law, yea above fine gold. Psal: 119. love worketh none ill, love is the fulfilling of the law. Rom: 13. 10.  
9 his Hatred. I hate every false way psal. 119. 104. hate the evil love the good Amos. 5. 15. do good to them that hate you Mat: 5. 44. therefore the world hateth you John. 15. 19  
10. his fear. who desire to fear thy name Nehe: 1. 11. therefore will not we fear though the earth be removed Psal. 46. 2. a book of remembrance was written for them. Mal. 3. 16  
11. his Confidence And have no confidence in the flesh Phil: 3. 3. we hold fast the confidence firm unto the end Heb: 3. 6. cast not away your confidence which hath great recompense Heb. 10. 35.  
12. his Joy. Yet I will rejoice in the Lord: I will joy in the God of my salvation. Habak: 3. 28. and your joy no man taketh from you Jo: 16. 22. It is joy to the just to do judgement Pro: 21: 15.  
13. his Grief but they are grieved for the affliction of Joseph And grieve not the holy spirit of God. Eph. 4. 30. Surely he hath borne our griefs, Isa. 53. 4  
14. his Patience Who by patient continuance in well-doing seek for glory, and honour, Rom. 1. 7. and let us run with patience Heb. 12. 1. let patience have her perfect work, sa. 1. 4.  
15. his Anger. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. Psal. 37. 8. be angry and sin not Eph. 4. 26. put of anger wrath malice etc.  
16. his outward man Let not sin reign therefore in your mortal body etc: Rom. 6. 12. but if ye through the spirit do mortify the deeds of the body Rom: 8. 13  
17. his Hearing. take heed how ye hear Luk. 8. 28. take heed what ye hear. my sheep hear my voice Joh. 10. 27. faith cometh by hearing Ro. 10. 17.  
18. his Eyes. I was eyes to the blind Job. 29. 15. the eyes of the lord are in every place beholding the evil and the good Pro. 15. 3. blessed are the eyes which see Luk. 10. 23.  
19 his Tongue. not double tongued. 1. Tim. 3. 8. Who so keepeth his tongue keepeth his soul: pr: 21 The tongue of the Just is as choice silver Pro. 10. 20.  
20. his Eating. and eateth not the bread of idleness. pr: 32. They shall eat and praise the Lord Isa. 62. 9 Thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands Psal. 128. 2.  
21. his Hands. He that, 〈◊〉 hath clean hands and a pure hart, psal. 24. 4. lifting up holy hands. 1. Tim. 2. 8. work with your own hands. 1. Thes. 4. 11.  
22. his feet. Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God. Eccl. 5. 1. make strait paths for your feet. Heb. 12. 13 if thy foot offend thee cut it of. mat. 18. 8.  
23. his Company. I am a companion of all them that fear thee. psal. 119. 63. not to company with fornicators. 1. Cor. 5. 9 note that man and have no company. etc 2 Th. 3. 11  
24. his Death. precious in the sight of the Lord, ps. 116. 15. on such the second death hath no power. Rev. 25 He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death Rev. 2. 11.
