scallop shell, symbol of the pilgrimage to Santiago da Compostela ¶ Hereafter followeth the abbreviation of the graces/ idulgences & stations which our most holy father Pope Alexander vi. granteth to all true believing people: of every sex or kind willing to enter into the fraternity of the great hospital of saint james in Compostell: lately edified & builded: as is contained in his letters apostolykes/ granted to everlasting memory/ & confirmed by our holy father now being Pope julius.  
FIrst it is granted to every brother & sister of the said hospital that they shallbe ꝑtable of all the Masses/ sacrifices/ prayers/ fastings/ alms deeds/ and of all other suffrages/ and god's deeds done in the said hospital.  
¶ Also that every brother & sister: may choose them a ghostly father/ secular or regular: which may give them full remission of all their sins: if they be contrite/ & confessed of them/ ones in their life/ & ones in the article of death: so that they make restitution/ by themself/ or some other in such cases/ & to such persons: as restitution ought to be made.  
¶ Also that every brother & sister/ may a … 〈◊〉 many times as them list during their life chose to be their ghostly father & confessor any pressed/ secular or regular: which pressed 〈…〉 by them/ shall have power & authority to absolve them of all their sins/ crimes/ & excessys/ not reserved to the see of Rome as 〈◊〉 shallbe necessary/ or behovable▪ & also of all such as be rese●ed to the said see once in their life▪ except the cases contained in the letters/ of testimony of the said fraternite which every brother & sister ●hal receive.  
¶ Also the said confessor/ may ch●●●ge any vow made by the said brethren or sisters into other good works of charity. Except that vow to Rome/ jerusalem/ to the said saint james in compostell/ the vow of chastity/ and religion.  
¶ Also it is granted to all women that four tymen in every year during their life they may resort with o … two women to any Monastery of nuns of what order so ever it be▪ though it be of the recluse of saint Clare/ for to eat & drink and to be conversant with them/ But not for to lay with them by night.  
¶ Also the s●yd brethren & sisters/ what place in the world so ever they be in/ may here mass/ and all other divine service: and receive all the sacram●tes of holy church: although the church were interdicted by the authority of any ordinary/ Except that on Ester day they may not receive the blessed sacrament of the altar▪ which at all other times they may receive. And if it fortune that any brother or sister of the said fraternity decease such time as the church is interdicted: the body may be buried in the same place so interdict: so that it be done without great pomp & solennyte. And also that that same person were not the cause of the interdiction.  
¶ Also that every brother and sister of the same fraternity very penitent & confessed/ visiting in any feast of our lady or saint james any time fro the beginning of the first evensong/ to the last end of the last evensong any church dedicate in the honour of our lady/ or saint james/ & sake of them any other church where/ and what so ever it be/ shall obtain & have for every feast xxx years/ & thirty. lentes of Indulgence and pardonn of penance enjoined to ●●em.  
¶ Also every brother & sister of the said fraternity saying .v. Pater nosters▪ & v. Aves devoutly upon their knees in their parish church/ or in any other church: where it shall fortune them to be: shall have as great pardon/ indulgence & remission of their sins: as be granted to them that vesyte all the churches/ & stations at Rome: as well as if they personally visited the stations of Rome: as well within the city of Rome as without: that is to say/ in the days following: and first the days or feasts movables of the year.  
¶ The sunday in septuagesima: sexagesima: & quinquagesima: are stations. Also from the first day of lent inclusive: unto low sunday 
Festes' movables.  inclusive: which been also every day stations: and so many & great pardons Indulgences & full remissions: which no man can expryme them: also the iii rogation days/ the ascension day/ & whitsunday: monday tuysday with the iii embering days: and all the utas of whitsunday be stations: and great pardons. Also in the utas of Corpus xpi full remission▪ & know ye that every saturday in lent & every day of our lady in all the year is full remission.  

Here followeth Indulgens & full remissions for certain days in everimoneth in the year.  

january  ¶ First the Circuncisyon of our lord: the Epiphany with all the utas/ & saint Scbastians' day are stations: saint Agnes day and the l●●● day of january is full remission.  

February  ¶ The purification of our lady full remission▪ & in the feast of saint Peter the Cathedra is station▪ & saint Mathias day the apostle is full remission.  

March.  ¶ Saint Gregoryes day is remission of all sins: also the even of saint Bendic & the annunciation of our lady is full remission.  

april.  ¶ Saint Marks day is station: and the day of saint Peter the martyr: is full remission.  

May.  ¶ The feast of saint Philip & jacob: & every sunday in may is full remission: also the third & the vii day are stations & full remissions▪ also upon saint Iohnns day portlatin is full remission: & in the revelation of saint M●chael: is remission of the iiii ᵗ part of all sins▪ 〈◊〉 know ye ● ᵗ from the iii day of May till the first day of August/ in the church of saint Iohn latren●sse are every day. ●●●. 〈…〉 day full ●●myss●●.  

june.  ¶ The nativity of saint Iohn baptist with all the utas full remission▪ also the day of sanyt Peter & the next day following in which day the commemoration of saint Paul is hallowed be full remission/ & a thousand years of pardon.  

july.  ¶ The visitation of our lady with all the utas following/ full remission▪ also saint Mary maudeleyns day full remission/ & pardon of the fourth part of all sins: saint james day full remission.  

August.  ¶ The first day of August: the second: the fourth: & saint dominykes day: each of them full remission▪ also saint Laurens day with all his utas full remission. The assumption of our lady with all the utas following full remission: & from the day or feast of the assumption of our lady unto the feast of her nativity are every day▪ xii years of pardon: & remission of the third part of all sins▪ also saint bartilmew's day/ & all his utas full remission▪ also upon saint Augustine's day and the day of the decollation of saint Iohn baptist/ full remission.  

September  ¶ The nativity of our lady/ full remission▪ also upon holy Rodis day with all the utas following is full remission▪ also the three embringe days of September are stations and full remissions▪ also saint Mathewes day/ & saint Ieromes day: is full remission.  

October.  ¶ Saint Frauncys day with all his utas full remission▪ also on saint Luke's day full remission▪ & on saint Simon & judis day is a stucyon.  

November.  ¶ The day of All-Hallowen full remission/ & vi. Mt. years of pardon: & sowlmes day/ full remission▪ also the ix day/ the xviii. day/ & the twenty day of November/ & the last day that is saint Andrew's day/ is full remission.  

December.  ¶ The four sundays of Aduent/ & also the iii embringe days of December which be all station days, the concepcyon of our lady/ and the xviii. day of the same month which is our lady day of the O/ & saint Thomas day thapostell full remission: christmas even/ is a station. christmas day/ & the mass at midnight of the same day/ the morrow mass & the high mass/ been stations & full remissions▪ saint Steven'S day withal his utas saint Iohn evangelist/ & Innocentes day which been stations/ & full remissions.   

Hereafter followeth indulgences/ and remissions for every day in the year.  

Every day in the year  ¶ First in the church of saint Iohn latrenens: which is granted every day in the year. xiviii. years & xiviii. lentis of pardon/ & remission of the three part of all sins▪ also pope Silvester & Gregory hath granted & given to them that devoutly doth vesite the same: Indulgences which no man may noumbre but only god/ thus saint Bonyface testifieth: which saith/ if men knew the indulgence of saint Iohn latrenens church: it were no need to go to the holy Sepulchre/ or to saint james.  
¶ Also in the church of saint Peter/ which is every day in the year xlviii years▪ & xlviii lentis of pardon/ & remission of the third part of all sins. Also from the feast of the annunciation of our lady unto the first day of August beside the said daily pardons are every day xii. year & as many lentis▪ & remission of the third part of all sins.  
¶ Also in the church of saint Paul▪ which is every day in the year xlviii. years xlviii. lentis of pardon/ & remission of the third part of all sins. & also every sunday who so ever vesite that same church: shall have as great pardon as though he went to the holy sepulchre in jerusalem/ or to saint james in Galys.  
¶ Also in the great church of our lady: which is every day in the year xlviii years xlviii. lents of pardon: & remission of the iii part of all sins.  
¶ Also in the church of saint Laurence extra muros: where are every day in the year xlviii. years xlviii lentis of pardon/ & remission of the third part of all sins▪ also who so ever shall vesyte the same church every wednesday in one year delivereth a soul from purgatory.  
¶ Also in the church of saint Fabyan/ & saint sebastian: where are every day xlviii. years xlviii. lentis of pardon/ & remission of the third part of all his sins/ & also in the same church in certain places is asmuch pardon & Indulgence: as in thechurches of saint Peter & paul for their bodies were hid there long time before they were found/ & there are many other innumerable pardons & indulgens in the same church which can not be numbered: for them innumerable bodies of saints that rest there.  
¶ Also in the church of the holy Cross/ where are every day xlviii. years xlviii lentis of pardon & remission of the third part of all sins. Also beside the foresaid daily pardons: are every sunday CCC. years & CCC. lentis of indulgence & remission of the iii part of all sins.  
¶ Also in the church of saint praxedes is every day in the year xii. M. years & xii. M. lentis of pardon/ & remission of the third part of all sins. Also in the same church is a chapel: that is called Libera nos a penis inferni▪ in which chapel Pope paschal said v. masses for a soul: which was delivered. & the said pope granted that who so ever should do say v. masses should deliver a soul from purgatory.  
¶ Also in the church that is called saint Peter's prison▪ where are every day CC. years of indulgence with remission of the third part of all sins/ which every festful day in the year are doubled.  
¶ Also in the churches of our lady de pace/ & in the church of our lady de pplo: in all & every feast of our lady/ & every saturday in lente: for each of them full remission. And beside these principal churches there be divers places of stations within the said city/ & also without where be great & innumerable pardons & remissions granted: which were very long to declare & profitely express: which the said brethren & sisters shall opteyn as well as if they were present in the Cite of Rome.
