ACT Prorogating the Tolerance for Importing Foreign Victual. Edinburgh 20 September 1698. THe Lords of His Majesty's Privy Council Considering, that their Allowance and Licence for Importing Victual and Corns of all Sorts from Foreign Countries into this Kingdom, and that free of Custom, Excise, or Imposition, does expire upon the first day of October next to come; Do therefore hereby Prorogat and Continue the foresaid Licence, in the hail Points and Articles thereof, until the second Tuesday of November next inclusiuè: And Ordains their Presents to be Printed and Published at the Mercat Cross of Edinburgh, and other Places needful.
