BY virtue of several Ordinances of the Lords and Commons now assembled in Parliament, directed to us the Commissioners of Excise, for the ordering and receipts of the Excise and New-Impost; we the said Commissioners, for the better accommodation of trade, have deputed, authorised and appointed, and, by these Presents, do deputy, authorize and appoint, 〈◇〉 our collector; giving and granting unto him power and authority hereby, to collect and gather all moneys due for the Excise of all 〈◇〉 and all other exciseable commodities whatsoever, by him our said collector sold, or hereafter from time to time to be sold, for his use, or by his appointment, unto any person or persons whatsoever: Requiring all and every such person and persons to make due payment, according to this our Commission, and the aforesaid Ordinance of Parliament, and the several directions prescribed therein: This our Commission to determine upon the 〈◇〉 next, or sooner, at our pleasure.
