I AM sensible this public way of Practise has been brought into Dis-esteem with some Men, through the Ignorance of several who have used it; and though from thence I expect the censure of some, yet I cannot think I deserve it from any, nor persuade myself but that I may, without an Affront to Learning, make a just use of that Method, which by vain Pretenders has only been abused. As I have been bread to physic, so I give Advice in all Distempers; and as I have, as well in my Converse and practise abroad, as my Experience at home, discovered more than ordinary Means in effecting the Cure of many Diseases, so I shall not think I do amiss, if I hereby give Notice to such whose Distempers give them a claim to my Assistance.  
An old inveterate headache, though of some years standing, I perfectly take away in a short time, and speedily relieve those wracking Pains which many endeavour to purchase Ease for at any Rate.  
Convulsion-Fits and Epilepsies, either in Young or Old, I Cure in a short space; Children in a Week. Men and Women in about a Fortnight.  
Asthma's, Ptisicks and Consumptions, I have so effectual a Method in Curing, that I have often restored such whose Recovery has been dispair'd of.  
I have such powerful Means in Curing the wind-colic, that I take away the most violent pains that are in about half an hour, as many have experienced to their comfort, who have lain as it were' on the Wrack for 5 or 6 days together.  
Dropsies of any kind I can safely, from Experience, engage to Cure, in the worst of any Curable State, having recovered many who have been left off as past Hope; therefore if any imagine themselves to be Incurable, let them come to me, and if I find them so, I shall neither do them nor my 〈◇〉 the Injury to undertake them.  
I give perfect Ease to the most violent and wracking pains of the ston( either in Renas or Madder) in two hours time, and in about 14 days I dissolve the ston, and bring it away without pain. In this Distemper I have done Cures even beyond my own Expectation; as likewise in the Stranguary, or stoppage of Urine.  
Incontinency of Urine, or such as cannot hold their Water, I have a certain Cure for. No doubt but those who are troubled with this unhandsome Evil, would gradly be delivered from it, for Nature is as much concerned at, and as willing to be rectified in her Indecent Errors, as freeed from her Afflicting pains; therefore since few know how to give Relief in this Case, and Providence has allotted me an effectual Method herein, to keep it silent would be Injustice to the World, by concealing a Happiness which many may desire, and in some sense have a Right to enjoy. I Care this Distemper not only in Children, but in those of any Age.  
I Cure the Bloody-Flux Infallibly, as also the gripping of the Guts, attended with a Looseness and Vomiting, and that with more speed than will be easily imagined, but by those who have had occasion to try.  
Venereal Diseases of all kinds I thoroughly Cure, though they are Exalted to the highest degree of Malignity. A Gonorhoea, or Running of the Reins, attended with pricking pains in making Water, I Cure in a Fortnight without Mercury, so perfectly, that I never leave the least Symptom for the Patient ever to complain of after. No Distemper whatsoever has been so abur'd by Ignorant Pretenders as this, as I have found by many who have come to me in a miserable Condition, after having been Tormented by them for half a Year, by a preposterous Course of improper and ineffectual physic, some with intolerable pains in their Bones, others with Nodes in their Legs and Arms; others with Ulcers in their Throats, &c. And as I have met with many who have been spoiled by them, so I can justly say. That never any one went from me without a perfect Cure; and as the Methods I use are thoroughly Effectual, so they are absolutely Safe. The POX, with every Malignant Symptom, I thoroughly Cure in Three Weeks or a Month, taking away all wracking pains in the Bones, Nodes in the Arms or Legs, Scabs, wars, or Shankers; Ulcers in the Throat, or any part; and the time that I have limited is the largest I require for the Cure of the worst of any Venereal Distemper that I have hitherto ever met with.
