At the Blew-Ball in little Kerby Street in Hatton Garden in Holborn liveth a Gentlewoman, WHo( without making any preambles how or from whence she gained her Art) is willing to tell the World in few words, that( through the blessing of God) she is to a wonder successful in working a speedy cure on those that have either Rickets, or Deafness, as many both rich and poor can truly witness. She has a Searcloath, which hath been highly approved by several, for taking away all manner of Pains and Aches, and is so excellent for Sore eyes in general, that nothing curable can come amiss to her; she has also a safe and certain way of curing Agues by an outward application; with several other things, which she thinks not altogether convenient to be mentioned in this paper. This Gentlewoman hath likewise a most Excellent and Wonderful Art to make the Hair grow wherever it be wanting, though there had been none before( as she hath already done to the admiration of several.) She hath likewise an incomparable Wash for the Face that takes out Freckles, all sorts of Spots, read or yellow, with a great Secret to smooth, the face though never so full of Wrinkles, she makes them look equally Fair and Smooth to the youngest, especially those that have have been lately prejudiced by the Smal-Pox. She likewise hath a Water that takes all sorts of Worms out of the face; She sells a very Fine Powder for the Teeth, and hath also an Excellent Art to make the Hands white smooth, and soft, with a sweet salue to make the lips soft and ruddy. This same Gentlewoman is always ready to give an answer to any reasonable question that shall be asked her, of what kind soever it be, whether of things past, things now depending, or things to come. She is to be spoken with at her House above mentioned from 9. in the morning till at 9. night, where she hopes to satisfy all that comes to her. By Allowance. They give great Relief in Hypoohondraick Melancholy, for they open Obstructions of the Spreen, evacuate adust Melancholy Humours from the Stomach amend the Distemper of the Bowels, and strengthen the Vital Part●, thereby preventing the Passions of the Mind, as Grief, Anger, Melancholy, Peevishntss, &c. They perfectly Cure the Jaundice, a Distemper arising from the evil disposition of the Liver, and Obstructions of the gull, hindering the separation of the choleric humours from the Blood, which Nature striving to cast out, cause the yellowness of the Skin. The Green Sickness is a Disease arising from the Obstructions of the Veins about the Womb, Liver, Spleen and Mesentery, causing various symptoms in young Women, the course of Nature being stopped, producing a cachexy or evil h●bit of the Body, alters the Complexion, sending ill Vapours to the Brain, causeth a Loathing of Meats that are good, occasion swellings in the Belly and Legs, with unwillingness to exercise, attended sometimes with difficulty of Breathing, and universally indispose the Body, so that most Distempers incident to Women may arise from it, by taking some Doses of my pills you may have a perfect Cure in a short time,( with the Blessing of God) as many can testify. ☜ I have Cured hundreds of Deafness with these Pills, when no other physic, nor Manual Operation could perform it; and certainly they are most excellent for all Distempers in the Head, whether primary or by consent, as inveterate Headaches, frenzies, Giddiness, Convulsions, Apoplexies and Stupefactions; for they wonderfully strongthen the Brain and Memory. It is a certain and speedy Remedy which never fails in the wind-colic, oft●imes giving ease in two houres beyond expectation, and is an excellent Stomach-pill, causing good digestion, curing defluxions of sharp humours, as Catarrhs and tickling Coughs, Killing worms of all sorts in old or young, giving speedy ease to Sharpness of Urine, the Running of the Reins, curing all Surfeits got by drinking, or otherwise, assisting much toward the Curing of old Ulcers in the Legs, or any swellings whatever, and is very proper to be taken after any Fit of Sickness, to prevent a Relapse; ☜ And is very necessary to be taken to prepare the Body; As likewise after the Drinking of Tunbridge, Epsom, Dullage water, &c. to carry off those earthly Impurities which may remain in the Body, for they gently purge off all offending humours, sweetening the Blood, and strengthening the Noble parts, enabling them to stand, without decaying old Age. These pills are Sealed up in Tin boxes, the price of the half Box containing twelve pills is one shilling six pence, and the whole Box containing four and twenty pills is three shillings with Directions, and are sold by the Author at the blew Ball in Haydon-yard in the Minories, and at Mr. Benjamin Harris's at the Stationers arms in the Piazza under the Royal Exchange in Cornhill, and at no other places. ☜ This pill is free from Mercury, and if any person hath been damnified by it, this Noble pill carrieth off whatever poisonous quality it hath left in the Body.
