 a doctor speaking to a man lying on a couch, while others wait in a line to purchase remedies  
THese are to give Notice, That here is lately Arrived an Experienced and most Famous High-German Doctor, who by his great Study, and constant practise in several Parts of the World, as well in Princes Courts, as in Hospitals, and War-like Expeditions, hath obtained such a Physical Method, as to Cure all external and internal Distempers ( if Curable) and a great many he has c●re● when left off by others as incurable; as he can show by Testimonials not only from Emperors, Kings, Dukes, and Electoral Princes, but also from the right honourable the Lord Mayor of London, with the Court of Aldermen. Also from the Right Worshipful Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Bristol, ●●●rcer●●● and Hereford, &c. and many other Citles and Corporations in this Kingdom, certifying the wond●r●●l Cures he has undertaken, and( by Gods Blessing) most happily performed.  
2. He lets you understand, that he is so Famous an Oculist, as also so excellent in Curing the ston and rapture, that the like of him is scarce to be found. If any Patients come which are troubled with Blindness of the eyes by Cataracts, he restores their sight in less than a quarter of an hour, and makes them perfectly to see in 8 or 9 days time if they have been blind 10, 15, or 20 years: He has Cured those that were Born Blind( by Cataracts.) He cureth also Obstructions, Suffusions, Dimness, or Darkness in the Eyes, as also Redness, Horness, or running of the Eyes, or any other Distemper of the Eyes which is not here mentioned, he Cures to Admiration in a very short time.  
3. Such People as are troubled with that intolerable pain of the ston in the Bladder ( in making water) he cures the same dexterously( after all other means unprofitably used) by Cutting, or without; in a few days by a new and easy method: He can also take the ston out of the Bladder of Women or Maids without Cutting, per dilat●●tionem.  
4. He helps also all Bursten or Broken Bellies, either in Men, Women or Children, whether the Ruptures be in the Groin or Navel, and if the rapture be as big as a Mans Head, then trust to God and his Art, and you shall have your Cure, that you may go about in a short time without a Truss, if you have been Bursten 20 or 30 years together. He also directeth Artificially all sorts of Trusses, so easy the like was never seen, the Patient may go in the same, and Ride, Dance and Spring, and do what they will without any Danger, which Medicine healeth artificially under the same. Of these Ruptures are found seven sorts, Hernia, Intestinal●, Ventosa, Varicos●, Aquosa, Carnosa, Humoralis, Exompalis; all these this famous Do-Doctor can help in a short time, either by Cutting or without Cutting, 〈…〉 ent: And those Patients that desire to be Cured with Cutting, he will undertake to Cure them artificially, without any Danger in 14 days, and others without Cutting in 6 or 8 weeks.  
5. He also Cures Hair-Lips, Wry Necks, also all sorts of Ulcers, great Wens, Cancers, in the Lips, Tongue, or Breast, the Rickets in Children, Crooked Legs, fistulas either in Arms, Legs, Eyes, &c. in a short time.  
6. This Doctor hath a curious way for the curing of the Kings-Evil, and Falling-Sickness in Men, Women and Children, if they have been troubled with it 10 or 20 years, so that they shall not be troubled with it again all their Life time.  
7. He likewise cureth Women and Maids of many Infirmities, as, The Green. Sickness, Stoppage or Overflowing of the Courses of Nature, He also helps the Whites and Weakness of the Back, and other Distempers of Women. He hath also a great Secret to help Conception; likewise a powerful Medicine to prevent Miscarriage, although you have Miscarried 5 or 6 times successively.  
8. This Doctor cureth in an Extraordinary, and most easy manner the Morbus Gallicus or French POX with all its Symptoms,( as the gonorrhea or Running of the Reins, Shankers, Buboes, or swellings in the Groin,) pain in the Head, Arms, Shoulders and Legs, or Ulcers in the Mouth, Throat, Scabs, Itch, and breaking out over the whole Body, after a new and easy method, although you have had it several years, and have been Fluxt several times, and almost spoiled by others, and given over as incurable; he can cure you both surely and safely, without either Fluxing or Mercury, or any Danger at all; he has cured abundance when left off by other Doctors as incurable; therefore for the satisfaction of those who have been Sporting in the Garden of VENUS, and instead of Pleasure have met with a CLAP or Running of the Reins; he promises to Cure them in 6 or 7 days time, or else desires nothing for his pains, which is as much as to say NO CURE NO MONEY.  
9. He cureth artificially all Distempers in Men or Women, as Vapours, Giddiness, or Swimming of the Head, or any Fainting Fits, Noise of the Head, Deafness; also the dropsy, Yellow Jaundice, Scurvy, Rhumatism, could and phlegmatic Stomach, Windy and tedious Coughs, spitting of Blood, Ptifick, Consumption, stoppage of the Liver, hardness of the Spleen, over-flowing of the gull, Melancholy, Madness, Small Pox, Agues, fevers, Pleurisies, Wind and colic, Palsy, all Pains or Aches of the Limbs, or any part of the Body, Lameness, Shrinking or Contraction of the Nerves or Sinews, Bloody Flux, stoppage of the Urine, or such as cannot hold their Water, or pains in making Water, voiding of Blood, Ulcers in the Womb and Bladder: And many other Distempers which no Physician can give name to; he hath Cured such, when given over by others as incurable.  
10. He would have no person despair by reason of the long continuance of their Distemper; but let them bring their Urine and he will give his judgement in all Distempers, and resolve you if the Disease be curable or not, if Curable he will undertake them; if not, he tells you so, that you may not be abused by False Pretenders; and will give you such Satisfaction, that you may see what an Honest physician for Counsel and physic can perform. If the Distemper require a close Confinement, at his House Convenient Lodgings may be had if desired.  
11. He keeps an Operator that cleanses the Teeth, and makes them as white as Ivory, and extracts Aching Teeth with a Touch, and gives present ease to those pained with Hollow Teeth, and fastens loose Teeth, and sets in Artificial Teeth as if they were natural.  

For the satisfaction of the Curious, shall be incorted only some few notable Cures,( out of the many Hundreds might be mentioned) which have been wrought by this Famous High-German Doctor lately.  
HE Cured a Child( next Door to the Black Horse in Market Lane, near St. James's Market,) that was Born Blind, in 13 days time. John Howel of the Parish of S. Thomas in the City of Bristol, Aged 72, And Alice Diddal of the Parish of Temple in the said City Aged Fourscore Years, and that they had been Blind 9 years, he restored their sight immediately, and perfectly cured both them and others in 14 days.  
He also Cured a Child( at the sign of the George near St. James's Market,) that was Born with a rapture, he Cut and Cured him in 11 days time.  
He Cured also a Child( at the York-shire House in Market Lane, near St. James's Market) that was troubled with the ston almost ever since it was Born, he Cut him and took away the ston which was as big as an Egg, and cured him in the space of between 3 or 4 Weeks.  
Edward cook, near Marigold Stairs in Southwark, having had a Cancer in his Lip 4 years, and been 3 years under the hands of many eminent Physicians and chirurgeons in and about this City, was perfectly Cured by this Famous Doctor in the space of 10 days. And many more might be mentioned, which there is not room to insert.    

This Famous High-German Doctor is now for the public Good settled in the Strand, betwixt St. Clements Church and Temple Bar, at his House at the Sign of the Angel, just over against Essex Street; where the Pictures of Patients, and Ma●●al Operations are over the Door, and where there is a read Cloth with Stones and Ruptures taken out of the Patients hanging by. And is to be spoken with from 8 in the morning till 11, and from 2 in the afternoon till 8 at night.
