C. R.  BY THE KING.¶ A Proclamation for the Payment of His Majesties Rents, and Revenues into His Receipt of His Exchequer, at His city of Oxford.  
WHEREAS the Kings most excellent Majesty, for good causes, was graciously pleased by His late Proclamation( amongst other things) to Order, Declare, and Publish, that the Receipt of His Majesties Exchequer, and of the first Fruits, and Tenths payable by all spiritual Persons, and others should be, and by the said Proclamation was, and stood adjourned unto the city of Oxford, for the whole term of Saint hilary then next ensuing, and now instant, and should begin, and be there held, and continued upon and from the Three and Twentieth day of january then next ensuing, until, and upon the Thirteenth day of February then next following. And that the Court of Wards and Liveries, should be, and by the said Proclamation was, and stood adjourned for, and during all the term, and time aforesaid, from the city of Westminster, unto the said city of Oxford, and should be there held, and continued. His Majesty doth hereby publish, and declare His royal pleasure to be, That His said Receipt shall continue at His city of Oxford, and that all His Majesties Rents and Revenues shall be paid into His Majesties Receipt of His Exchequer, at the said city of Oxford, until such time as His Majesty shall declare His farther pleasure to the contrary. And His Majesty doth by this His Proclamation Will and Require all His Auditors, and Receivors of His several Revenues to attend His Majesty in their several Offices, and places, at the said city of Oxford. And that none of them, nor any other of His Majesties Officers, Ministers and Subjects whomsoever presume, after the publishing of this His Proclamation, to pay any sum or sums of money due to His Majesty, at Westminster, or elsewhere contrary to His said Proclamation, as they will answer the same at their uttermost perils. And His Majesty doth hereby inhibit, and forbid all the Officers, and Ministers of His Court of Wards, and Liveries, to make any Composition, or Compositions with any Person, or Persons, or to do any other Act, or Acts, thing or things, touching or concerning that Court, at any other place then at His said city of Oxford, and without having due respect to His Majesties said Proclamation, until His Majesty shall declare His farther pleasure. And His Majesty doth hereby declare all Compositions, or Agreements so by them already made, or to be made, contrary to this His Majesties Proclamation, to be voided, and of no force and effect. And that His Majesty will not be bound to the performance of the same, or any of them. And His Majesty doth hereby Require, and Command all His Officers, Ministers and Subjects whomsoever, whom it may concern, to yield due obedience and observance to this His Proclamation, as they will answer the contrary at their perils.
