Mrs. Mary Green, Living at a Haberdasher of Hats, next Door to the Three-Crane-Tavern in Chancery-Lane; hath by the Blessing of God, and many Years practise, Learned a most Excellent Method of Curing these Distempers here under-mentioned. These are to certify all Persons whom it may Concern, that Mrs. Mary Green in Chancery-Lane is licenced by His Grace, the Lord Archbishop of Canterbury, for the Great Cures she hath performed on several Persons. ALL Deadness, Numbness, Weakness of Limbs, Rheumatisms, and Sciatica's, all Bruises and Aches proceeding from could, tho' of many Years standing. She hath also an excellent way of Curing the stoppage of the Stomach, Cough, shortness of Breath, both in Men and Women; and also, several other Distempers, too tedious here to relate; the Truth of which, you may be satisfied,( by Repairing to her House in Chancery-Lane, as aforesai●) by Testimonials under the Hands of several Persons under-writ, with many oth 〈…〉 at she( through the Blessing of God) hath perfectly Cured, when many of them should have had their Arms and legs cut off, by the Advice of many Eminent Doctors, in and about London. She hath also an excellent way to discharge all windy Vapours, both in Men and Women, and watery poisonous Humours, that do so often corrupt the Blood, and hinder it from having its due course in the Body, which causes great weakness in the Limbs. She never undertook any, but whom she hath perfectly Cured; even those, who have been given over by their Doctors and surgeons, She hath also an excellent method in curing Soreness in the Eyes, Catharacts, Pins, Webs, and Pearls; she likewise cureth the Gout, when it hath been left in the Stomach, applying something to the sole of the Feet, and all brackish, scorbutick, salt Humours, that run oftentimes into Tetters and Leprosies: she useth very little physic to remove any of the afore-mention'd Distempers. You may inquire of the Persons undernamed,( whom she through the Blessing of God) hath perfectly cured, viz. Mr. Robert Smith, at his Chambers in the Temple, who was very much troubled with the Gout or Rheumatism in his Right-shoulder, and had the Advice of many Eminent Doctors, and surgeons, and was under the Hands of some of them along time, but found no Relief; and afterwards applying himself to the said Mrs. Green, was in a short time cured by her: The said Mr. Smith, about two Years ago, was struck with a Planet on his Left Arm, and did then also apply himself to the ablest Physicians and surgeons in London, and found no Relief, but applying himself again to the said Mrs. Green was in a short time perfectly cured by her, and is now as well as any Man can be. And one Mrs. Cookeson at the Roe-Deer in Woods-Close, who had been Eight Years and upwards Lame all of one side, and use all the means she could hear of, and found no Relief; but applying her self to the said Mrs. Green, was in a short time perfectly cured by her. Also one Mrs. Atkins a Midwife in Scroops-Court against St. Andrew's Church in Holbourn, was lame in all her Limbs, so that she could not stir her self, without Help, did for five Years consult the ablest Doctors she could hear of, and likewise the whole college of Physicians, and found no Relief, but applying her self to the said Mrs. Green, was in a short time perfectly cured by her. As also one Mrs. Butler against the Pewter-Platter in St. John's-Street, who was two Years troubled with a white Swelling in her Right-arm, and could not lift it up to her Head, did apply her self to the said Mrs. Green, and was in a short time perfectly cured by her. And also one Mrs. Thompson at the Sun in Bedfordbury near Covent-Garden was bit with a Dog and was under a surgeons Hand 31 Years, was cured by her in a short time. The gr●●● Pain of the Stomach, shortness of Breath, stoppage of the Stomach, and Yellow-Jaundice, are cured in three or four Days time without physic, after they have been give● over as Incurable by others, during that time, they may go Abroad, and Eat and Drink what they please, viz. Mr. Floyd of Lincolns-Inn, one Mrs. Pawlet, and Mrs▪ Dixter in Hanging-Sword-Ally in Fleet-Street, Mr. Vaughan clerk to the White Lon-Wharf, near Barnards-Castle in Thames-Street, who was troubled with the Ptis●k sixteen Years, and George Bee living in Brown's-Garden. As also one Mrs. Frances Gillot, who lives at the Kings-Head-Inn in Southwark, of a great Stoppage in the stomach and dropsy and of Convulsion Fits which she was Born with, altho' left off by others as Incurable, the Truth whereof the said Mrs▪ Gillot will attest. These Persons above name( and many other too tedious here to relate) have all of them been along time under the Hands of many Eminent Doctors and surgeons, and found no Relief, were in a short time perfectly cured by her. She likewise cureth the ston and Gravel, the Ague, and Wind colic. Vivant Rex& Regina▪
