WHo by he blessing of God on his great Study, Travels and Experience, hath at last attained to that which many of our Forefathers of the same Profession have sought for, but never so completely found, as( God be praised) he hath, and has had wonderful Success in the Cure of the Diseases following, viz. He would not have you think he aims at high Prices, or makes it his business to get great store of Money: No, in truth, he is none of those; he will give you to understand his Terms,( which are very reasonable) before he undertakes you, that you may not be cheated. This is his Agreement with all his Patients that are afflicted with the abovesaid Distempers; He takes no money for his Trouble or Medicines till a quarter of a Year after the Cure is performed, and they have left oft their Trusses or Bands: And then as a reward for the same, requires the sum of forty shillings, for those who are not able Thirty shillings. And for those that have no money, and desire it for Gods sake, he will cure Gratis. He carefully, and with great Expedition, cures all Internal and External Distempers; all Vapours, Giddiness, or swimming of the Head, Fainting fits, Noise in the Ears, Deafness, dropsy, Yellow-Jaundice, Scurvy, Rheumatisms, could flegmatick stomachs, windy and tedious Coughs, spitting of blood, flowing of the gull, Melancholy, Madness, pleurisy, Wind and colic, palsy, all pains or aches of the limbs, or any part of the body, Lameness, shrinking or contraction of the Nerves, or sinews, Bloody-flux, stoppage of Urine, and such as cannot hold their Water, pains in making of Water, voding of blood ulcers in the Womb and bladder, together with many other Distempers not hitherto distinguished by Name. He hath cured such when given over by others as incurable. He likewise cureth Women and maids of many Infirmities; as the Green sickness, stoppage or overflowing of the courses of nature. He also helps the whites and weakness of the back and other Distemper of Women. He hath a great secret to help Conception; likewise a powerful medicine to prevent miscarriage, although you have miscarried five or six times before. He also cureth the French-POX, with all its Accidents, as the Running of the Reins, shankers, Bubo's or swellings in the Groin, after a new method, and in a short time, without baths or stoves, as also without Mercury, which many times prove destructive to the Patient. And for the satisfaction of all those who have been sporting in the Garden of Venus, and in seeking for Pleasure, have met with a Clap or gonorrhea, if they come to him, he promiseth either to cure them in 9 or 10 days, or will have nothing for his pains, which is as much as to say, No Cure, No Money. He cureth all Ulcers in the Throat and mouth, Palate and Nose, though never so bad, and left of as incurable by others. He is also an excellent Oculist, able to cure, not only the Cataracts, but( by the blessing of God) restores them to sight, in a Quarter of an hour, who have been blind above Twenty Years, and perfectly cures them, if curable, in 8 or 9 days time at farthest. He hath likewise an incomparable Eye-Water, for curing all distempers in the Eyes, and for strengthening and restoring the decaying sight of People of what age soever. You may have this excellent Water of him, from five shillings the bottle, to what price you please. If any person, troubled with any Distemper whatsoever, incident to the body, will bring or sand him their Urine, he will be very ready and willing to tell them, whether their Distempers be curable or not.
