HONI SOIT QVI MAL Y PENSE ye MEIN TIEN DRAY BY THE LORDS JUSTICES OF IRELAND, A PROCLAMATION. sidney, THO: CONINGSBY BEING certainly Informed that several Souldiers of their Majesties Army in Ireland do daily desert their Colours and by confederacy with Masters and Owners of Ships and Vessells and other seafaring men Transport themselves into England& other parts beyond the Seas, To prevent which Inconveniency so prejucicial to their Majesties service We do strictly will and Command all Masters and Owners of Vessells and all other seamen that they do not take or permit to be taken on board their respective Vessells any Officers or Soldiers enlisted in their Majestys said Army or any persons whatsoever in order to their being Transported beyond seas unless they be noted Merchants& Traders or of known quality not of their Majesties said Army Or such as shall produce licences from us or the Lord General of their Majesties Army in Ireland and We do hereby declare that all those that shall be taken acting contrary to this our Proclamation shall be proceeded against as Accessories to, and abettors of fugitive Soldiers and contemners of their Majesties Authority& all their Majesties officers& ministers within the several Ports of this their Majesties kingdom are hereby required to apprehended all Persons with their Ships& Vessels that Offend herein and give us Forthwith an Account thereof.
