TYRCONNELL. WHEREAS it hath pleased Almighty God( who in signal manner hath Blessed His Majesty and His Kingdoms with great Prosperity, Peace and Plenty, to give His Majesty also apparent hopes, and good Assurance of having Issue by His Royal Consort, the Queen, who( through God's Goodness is now with Child. And forasmuch as increase of Issue of the Royal Family is a public Blessing, and( under God) a great Security of Peace and Happiness to these Kingdoms. We have therefore thought sit to appoint a Time, upon this Occcasion, to Render public and Hearty Thanks Through-out the Kingdom, for this Great Blessing already Begun; and to Offer up Prayers to Almighty God for the Continuance thereof. And We do hereby Appoint, that upon the nineteenth Day of this Instant February, within the City and Suburbs of Dublin, and Liberties adjoining, and upon the six and Twentieth day of the same Month in all other places throughout this Kingdom public Thanks and Solmn Prayers be offered up to Almighty God upon the occasion aforesaid, We willingly and strictly Commanding all persons within this Kingdom, with all sobriety, reverence and thankfulness to perform this duty upon the several and respective days before mentioned and to observe the same as becomes so Solmn an occasion, And that the same Form of Prayer with Thanksgiving prepared in England, for that occasion( which we have ordered to be Printed here and sent to the several Bishops to be distributed throughout their several Dioceses) be on the said days made use of in the several Churches and chapels in this Kingdom.
