Traytors who for their horrid Mu●der ●●d d●●●stable villainy ag●●●●● late Soveriagne Lord King CHARLES the first, that ever blessed Martyr, were Arraigned, tried, and Executed in the month of October, 1660. Which in perpetuity will be had in remembrance. unto the worlds end. Since there is no learned Scribe, nor Arithmaticion, Ever able to decide the usurped base ambition: Which in truth I shall declare, Traytors here which lately were, who wanted a physician. For the grand disease that bread, nature could not wean it, From the foot unto the head was putrifacted treason in it: Doctors could no cure give, Which made the Squire then believe that he must first begin it. And the physic did compose, within a pound of reason, ●●●t to take away the ca●●e, then to pu●ge away the Treason: With a Dosse of He●●● made up, Wrought as thi●● 〈…〉 ●ope, and given the● 〈…〉 The Doctors did prescribe at last, to give'm this Potation, A Vomit or a single Cast, well deserved in Purgation: After that to lay them down, And bleed a vein in every one, as Traytors of the Nation. So when first the physic wrought, the 13th. of October,( ☞ On Harrison▪ The Patient on a Sledge was brought, like a rebel and a Rover: To the execution tree, Where with much dexterity was gently turned over. Tuesday after Peters, cook two notorious Traytors, That brought our sovereign to the block, for which were hanged and cut in quarters: 'twas cook which wrought the bloody thing, To draw the charge against our King, that ever blessed Martyr. Next on Wednesday four came, for murder all imputed, There to answer for the same, which in Iudgement were confuted: gregory Clement, Jones and Scot, And Scroop together for a Plot, likewise were executed. Thursday past and Friday then, to end the full conclusion, And make the Traytors just up ten, that day were b●ought to ●●e●●tion: Hacker and proud Axtell he, At tyburn for their Treachery, received their absolution. Being against the King and States, the Commons all condemnd'm, And their quarters on the Gates, hangeth for a Memorandum: 'Twixt the heavens and the earth, Traytors are so little worth, to dust and smoke wée'l send'm. Let now October warning make, to bloody minded Traytors, That never physic more they take, for in this month they lost their quarters ro● Being so against the King, Which to murder they did bring, the ever blessed Martyr.
