BioImages is the BioCommunications Association's annual visual media competition and showcases the finest still images, illustrations, and graphic media, as well as interactive and motion media work, in the areas of life sciences and medicine.

To be included in BioImages, submissions were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges for intent, design, execution, and impact. The judges selected 107 images, submitted from 8 different countries, as award winners for the BioImages 2025 Exhibition. The BioImages Exhibition has content selected from nine different categories in three divisions. BioImages designates multiple awards in each award category, as well as BCA Special Merit Awards, Judges' Choice Awards, and a Best of Show Award.
