Early Bird Registrations Now Open for EBLIP8

The Organising and Program Committees of the 8th
International Evidence Based Library and Information Practice Conference are
pleased to announce that registrations are now open. EBLIP8 will be held July
6-8, 2015, in Brisbane, Australia.
Keynote speakers include Virginia Wilson, Director,
Centre for Evidence Based Librarian & Information Practice, University of
Saskatchewan (Canada); Neil Carrington, CEO, ACT for Kids (Australia), and Kim Tairi, University Librarian, Swinburne University of
Technology (Australia). The draft program includes 39 presentations from local
and international speakers. These presentations will provide an opportunity for
delegates to hear about cutting edge research in the field as well as scholarly
discussion about the future of evidence based practice within the profession. The
program also includes a choice of seven interactive workshops of relevance to
evidence based practice that will provide delegates with the chance to interact
and engage with other members of the library and information community.
