 Prov. IV.-l-Any Member may subscribe to the funds to 
 the amount of £50, currency, provided such subscription 
 be all puid into the hands of tho Treasurer, on or before 
 the Ist day of May, 1847. And provided also, that tho 
 ■aid subscription does not exceed tho gross amount of tho 
 regular Annual Instolments for the number of years he may 
 have been an itinerant Minister or Preacher. 
 
 Prov, V,^— A subscription to thb Centenary Fund, paid 
 in before the Ist day of May, 1847, by any Member, shall, 
 at his re<luoHt, bo considered as stock paid to this Society; 
 provided always, that the gross amount of subscription 
 from any one Member shall not exceed £50.

 Ptov. Iir.— The H'idow of aity Member of the Society 
 who may have died in the work, ahall have a claim for 50 
 per cent por annum on the grosa amount of stock paid in' 
 by her deceased husband, orby herself, with the following 
 exceptions, viz: those who married after their husbands 
 were superannuated ; .those who may have been more than 
 ten yell's younger than their husbapds, and who married 
 after llieir husbands were 65 yearj^ of age ; those whose 
 husWilds did not render more than five years' efficient aer-. 
 Tice to the Church after their marriage; such shall have 
 no clatma on the funds except by the special recommenda- 
 tion of the Board, and at the entire discretion of the Con- 
 ference ; provided always, thai in all cases where there are 
 children of the deceased undec 20 years of age, the Board 
 shall have full power to divide the annuity between the 
 widow and the children, or to direct the manner of appro- 
 priation, as they may think«most donducive to the interests 
 of the family. 
 
 Pro». IV.— The Orphan. Children of every deceased 
 "Minister, who may bo deprived of ths benefits of the So- 
 ciety by the death or marriage of their mother, shall receive 
 until they are 20 years old, the same annuity as their 
 'parents would receive if liying, subject to the direction of 
 tHe Board, as hereinbefore provided. 
 
 Prov. v.— All claimants on 'the Funds of this Society 
 shall be permitted to pay to the Treasurer thereof their 
 annual instalment^ as above provided. \ 
 
 Prow, -Vl^^Whenever the annuity of any Member, ^r 
 
 of the family of any Member, amounts to £50, he or they 
 
 shall 6nly be allowed, in addition to the said £50, a sum

 deemed and taken to include those Ministers

 Art. IX. — This Constitution may .be 
 amended at any time by the remmendation 
 of the Board, and a vote of two-thirds of 
 the Members present at any annual Con- 
 ference, And in like manner this Society 
 mhy he dissolved ; provided always that no 
 motion to dissolve the same i^all be acted 
 on until it shall have beeminder the con- 
 sideration of Conference for at least one 
 year J in which case the vote shall be ac-

 ling their names as such, according to the provisions of this 
 Constitution, any time during the present year. 
 
 3. Resolved — That any Minister or Preacher now in the 
 itinerant work, who shall neglect to become a Membertintil 
 the close of the next eifi^uing Conferehce, shall i|ot, there- 
 after, have the privilege of Membership at all, 
 
 ■''■ 4* Resolved— -Thtit the Constitution, as amended at the 
 Kingston Conference, shall be printed, and a copy forwarded 
 to each Member of the Society ; and to such other Preachers 
 as have not already been invited to join.
