(Copyrighted 1881.) ^AtHlWQTQH PREFAC ^ V All parties having coins. &c, to sell, or wanting to purchase the same, please read this carefully. 1. — Send a list of all coins, &c, giving dates and condition before shipping coins in quantities, and we will answer with cash offers, if acceptable to owner, or sell same in our public sales on commission, 2.— We will advance from $100.00 to $5,000.00, on collections, entrusted to our care for cataloguing and selling at public auction in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore or Boston, 3. — We will buy all coins, books, letters, antique, or curious - articles; and can supply customers with anything in this line cheaper than any dealer in U. S. 4. — We publish Numismatic news papers, and periodicals, which are mailed to subscribers in Europe and America, thus commanding facilities for advertising a coin sale, &c, superior to any dealer in the U. S. 5. — We pay postage on all orders. 6. — We will sell all coins in stock as per this Price List. 7. — Always send rare, or fine coins, if not over half a dozen by registered letter, at our expense. Send large quantities by Express, or Merchandise Mail registered. 8. — Send a lead pencil rubbing, (use the butt end of wooden pencil) on white paper, of the head side of all rare or curi- ous coins, and we will make a special offer for same. 9. — All goods, can be sent, C. O. D. when price is fixed and "privilege of seeing contents/' must be plainly marked on outside of express package. 10. — We will transact any coin, or other business in Eastern cities, for parties, living South or West of Philadelphia, and execute all bids at public auction sales, for a commision of 5 per cent. 11. — We keep a good assortment of rare and fine coins, &c, in stock; and can obtain excessively rare pieces at short notice. 12. — All coins forwarded are on approval and can be returned within a week after receipt of same, or exchanged for others at any time.
