PROVISIONAL SDIMABI OF MORTALITI STATISTICS IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA: 1935 The Bureau of the Census announces that there were 7,872 deaths during 1935 la the District of Columbia, or a rate of 15.9 per 1,000 poptulation - a slight decrease as com - pared with 1932. Detailed statistics by causes of death are shown in the following table. Similar summaries for the remaining states will be issued, as the tabulations are completed.
