No. i, nen-oiis headache; 2, torpid liver; 28, a lack of acid in the stom- ach, and 45, a lack of alkali in the stomach. Thus it is seen that each form of headache is produced b}- a different cause; hence, re- quires different treatment. So it is with all other forms of disease. With few exceptions, each ailment causes one or more isolated symptoms; that is, each disease causes a pain or an ache at some point on the body where they are not pro- duced by other ailments. It is these s^-mp- toms only, that makes it possible to place before the public a practical system by Avhich diseases are diagnosed, and, at the same time, can be properly treated. It affords re- lief and cure to almost all female disorders. The water should be used at bedtime, warm as can be borne, and taken in abundance, all that can be taken, from a quart to a gallon, and after taking and discharging it thor- oughly, inject about a pint more, with a lit- tle salt added, and retain until morning. When used for the general health, it may be inje6led every third or fourth evening, but in case of sickness, it should be used ev- ery other night.
