In the church, or by the hearth, may our hearts be lifted in reverent and grateful aspiration to - the God who holds in his hands the nations of the earth, yet whese eyes consider the poor. In the hallowed circle of home, and in the broader brotherhood of man, may we be kindly affectioned one to another. May we remember that righteousness alone exalteth a nation, and renew to the beloved country, which we hold as God’s stewards, the pledge of Our Sacred honor.
