Chimney Pots of Atlantic Terra Cotta Made by ILand Our major product is Architectural Terra Cotta, the modern building material centuries old. Chimney Pots are a new departure and we believe that chimney pots in other than natural clay colors are unique. HIMNEY Pots are always interesting. They add immeasurably to the architectural interest of the chimney, and if they occur in colors that are unusual for chimney pots they have the charm of novelty. In Atlantic Chimney Pots there are bright colors that will accentuate a color scheme and neutral colors that are harmonious in any connection. Today, when roofing materials rival the spectrum, chimney pots in colors that harmonize have a particular decorative value. The designs are many and varied. There are simple chimney pots for Colomal dwelling and English cottage, and ‘Tudor and Georgian designs taken direct from the old manor houses of England. As a final touch Atlantic Chimney Pots give the Architect’s design a defi- nitely finished appearance. 2 Colors See pages § and 9 eG INtoe THO. god aes ob te, 2 \ warm brick red with a smooth unglazed Surface. aN BO Go oo oo cen OPC Similar in character to the red. A chimney pot with a larger flue is thoroughly practical. A round pot can be used for a rectangular flue or vice versa, Base dimensions are by outside measurement. In a chimney pot that tapers the flue at the base will be from 2” to 4” larger than the flue at the narrowest point. Fach design is made in from four to eight different sizes. Ordering State quantity, design number, color number, price and give full shipping directions. Allow from six to eight weeks for delivery. While we always try to keep a fairly complete stock on hand it is impossible to keep every design, size and color ready for immediate delivery. Always order as far ahead as_ possible. Materials and Workmanship Atlantic Chimney Pots are modeled by hand, moulded by hand and pressed by hand in the hard. close-knit Atlantic Terra Cotta body. There is no better material for chimney pots and there are no chimney pots better made. The colors are fixed on the body by fire and eannot fade. The texture is not too smooth and there is a degree of variation in the color, purposely. ‘The hard mechanical appearance of chimney pots made by machinery is entirely lacking in Atlantic Chimney Pots. Cost Atlantic Chimney Pots are moderate in price and the cost is discounted by the fact that a chimney pot replaces the masonry construction of the chimney stack to an extent equal to the height of the chimney pot. By eliminating masons’ wages and the cost of materials the use of a chimney pot might even show a saving.
