It rras prepared by Harry B. Sbaw, Plant Quarantine Inspector, in Charge of Foreign Information Service, Division of Foreign Plant Quaran- tines, in part from the French texts of the original laws and orders, and in part it is adapted from the summary and statements of the general conditions applying to the importation of plants and plant products into Egypt prepared by the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture. The information contained in this circular is believed to be correct and complete up to the time of its preparation, but it is not intended to be used independently of, nor as a substitute for, the ori- ginal texts, and it is not to be interpreted as legally authoritative.
