D. 1856, entitled “An Act to grant certain lands to the La Crosse and Milwaukee Rail Road Company, and to execute the trust cre- ated by an Act of Congress entitled ‘An Act granting public lands to the State of Wisconsin, to aid in the construction of rail roads in said State,’ approved June 3, 1856, and the grants of the said act made, be and the same are hereby accepted and agreed to by the La Crosse and Milwaukee Rail Road Com- pany, upon the terms and conditions and according to the pro- visions in the said act contained.
