The Ordnance Maps of Parishes in Ireland, on the Scale of or 25*344 INCHES TO A MILE, ARRANGED BY COUNTIES. This scale is nearly equivalent to one square inch to an acre. Indexes to the plans of the parishes are bound up in the area books, by which the number of the sheets, including any particular locality may be seen. Each enclosure is distinguished by a number referring to a tabular index, which gives its description and its acreage in the area book. Note. — The maps of those parishes in the following table which are distinguished by an asterisk (thus *) do not include the moorlands or uncultivated portions. For the maps of such portions of parishes, reference should be made to the six-incli map of the county. Any of the sheets in the following table can be demanded, if required, uncoloured, and if so demanded will be issued in the usual course at the uniform price of 2s. 6d. per sheet, unless areas are printed in each enclosure, in which case the price will be 3s. per sheet.
