 to permission to hold real estate, the accompanying Bill is 
 submitted.

 AN ACT 
 
 Authorizing the Berkshire Life Insurance Company to 
 hold Beal Estate. 
 
 Be it enacted by the Senate and House 
 tives, in General Court assembled, and by 
 the same , as follows: 
 
 of Representor 
 the authority of 
 
 1 The Berkshire Life Insurance Company is hereby 
 
 2 authorized to purchase and hold real estate to - 
 
 3 amount not exceeding seventy-five thousand doUars^ 
 
 4 provided, that no part of said amount shall be invested 
 
 5 in real estate, except in the purchase of a smtab e 
 
 6 site and the erection or preparation of suitable bin 
 
 7 ings to be used wholly, or in part for the purposes of 
 
 8 said company; and all income, if any arising from 
 
 9 such real estate, shall be devoted exclusively to the. 
 10 interests of said company.
