THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA SUMMER SESSION 1913 INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS 1. Class work in the Summer Session begins at 7:15 a. m., June 16 and will continue daily, Sundays excepted, to Friday, August 8. Graduation exercises for those who complete the work necessary for a degree will be held at 8:00 p. m. on August 8. 2. Admission; For entrance to the Summer Session no formal examinations will be required, but admission will be granted upon application when it shall appear to the faculty that the applicant is of sufficient maturity and training to profit by the exercises of the session. 3. Credit: Students who desire to secure college credit for work done at the summer session must present their credentials to the committee on admission and receive a certificate of admission. 4. Matriculation: After receiving a certificate of admission go to the registration office and matriculate. 5. Enrollment; After matriculation graduate students go to Dean VanVleet and all other students to the enrolling committee to have the study card approved. The several deans and committees meet in room 105 Administration Hall. 6. After having the study card approved by the proper adviser take it to the treasurer and pay all fees and deposits. 7. All students should read carefully the plan of work in the summer school bulletin page 9. 8. Be careful not to enroll so as to duplicate work already taken; for example, you cannot enroll for credit in German I if you already have credit for a year or more of high school German. Study the schedule and enroll so as to avoid conflicts. 9. Change of Studies: A student desiring to drop a study, or take a new one, after the study card has been filed, must present to the dean, or other adviser, a petition for the change. If the petition is approved by the dean and by the instructors concerned it must be filed in the same manner as the original study card. 10. Absence from Recitations: The student should be pre¬ sent at each meeting of the class. There are no excused absences. (See catalogue page 38.) 11. Withdrawal: Permission to withdraw from the University before the close of the semester must be secured from the dean and filed with registrar. (See catalogue page 38.)
