and treats them as friends. Because
she values family life in her own
country, she treats yours with
respect, and desires to make you
happy by improving your standard
of living.

In British Colonies, there is more
and more machinery to help with
heavy work. What you produce is
your own and nobody takes it from
you. Your Chiefs are encouraged
and helped to look after you and
nobody forbids you to follow your
own good customs.

With Britain helping you to keep
good order in your country, you
can travel when and where you like,
without fear. You can choose your
employer, and need not work for
anybody unless you want to work
for him. You also receive cash for
your produce.

Hitler has broken up home life in
all the lands he has conquered. If he
were the master of Africa, many
members of YOUR family would be
taken to forests, mines and planta-
tions far from home—NEVER TO

The Germans say that Africans are
like apes and not like human beings
at all, and that they are only fit to
be the slaves of the Germans. They
would take away everything you
hold dear, and if you did not give
in to them, they would burn down
your villages and shoot you.

A German newspaper recently
said : “ A lower race needs less food,
less room and less clothing than a
higher race.” Britain stopped the
Germans from ill-treating Africans
by beating Germany in the last war.
Britain will beat the Germans again
and you can help.
